WOMEN NEED TO BE HEARD
The Control & Freedom that Women Deserve

In the world that we live in, it's difficult to feel like you hold complete control over your life, especially if you are a woman. The universe has tendencies to throw unwanted opinions towards you in the moments you'd expect to be solely for yourself. As a woman, a strength that we've learned to acquire is to use our power and independence to hand stitch a shield that barricades any and all unwanted perspectives and opinions from those who believe that their own walk of life should be the global positioning system of everyone else's.
Considering all the power that women hold within themselves to carry this world on their shoulders, you'd expect them to get the basic human decency of respect. We are not asking to be carried around on velvet thrones with the world beneath us (even though we deserve it). All we ask is that our lives are seen as what they are: our lives. We are not accessories to an agenda that wants to lore us into a campaign for rights that only give us 10% when they promise 100. We are human beings that deserve the individual rights to our bodies, minds, and future.
We never asked for our rights to be put into the hands of the entitled who only see women as a population in which one means all. Women, like everyone else, go through different stories with different challenges. No one, man or woman, has the right to control or dictate the lives of an entire gender, because you believe your motives check off the majority of scenarios off the list. Do not assume that minority means irrelevant. No one is in the place to tell you what to believe or feel about your life; but, do not mistake your rights to freedom of speech as the right to use your power to act upon abusing a woman's right to her independence.
We ask for control. What I do or do not choose to do in my life does not mean that another woman should feel the exact same way. Women do not line up one behind the other to walk through one road in life. There are a plethora of options for women to choose from when it comes to decisions regarding the small and monumental moments of their lives. We do not intend to initiate protests, but sometimes we need to stand together in order for our voices to be heard. Think of it this way, would you feel comfortable knowing there are limits to the fundamental rights you were born with?
